One of the strongest arguments for Pocket Parking is the distance: the site is only 2,600 metres, about 9-10 minutes by car, from Liszt Ferenc Airport. You won't find a much closer external parking lot around the airport – which matters a lot if you'd rather not spend long minutes on the road with your luggage on the day you leave or come back.
The lot is easy to find: it's right next to the Lidl in Vecsés, so getting there is usually straightforward even without navigation.
About the lot
Pocket Parking is a medium-sized, professionally run guarded lot, with room for a handful of larger vehicles alongside everyday passenger cars.
In peak season the lot is usually fully booked, so it's not a good idea to show up without a reservation. We recommend booking your spot online a few days ahead of your planned parking date. It's also worth knowing that for a vehicle larger than a normal 5-seat car – a minibus, SUV or pickup, for example – the lot may charge a surcharge, since a larger vehicle can take up the space of two cars.
Security and comfort
Entry and exit to the site go through a barrier, the lot is fully enclosed by a fence, and the spaces are monitored by cameras – together these keep the car safe for the whole period.
The lot is lined with trees, so a portion of the spaces stay shaded all day. That's especially pleasant in summer – you won't come back to a car that's been baking in the sun for hours.

Transfer by air-conditioned minibus
The free airport transfer runs on two vehicles: a white Ford Transit and a green Volkswagen Caddy, both air-conditioned, so the short ride to the airport stays comfortable even in summer.
Additional services
The lot also offers car cleaning, both interior and exterior – worth using if you'd like to start your trip with a clean car, or come home to one. Car rental is available too, if your trip calls for a rental car.
Pocket Parking operates 24/7, every day of the year, so there's nothing to worry about with an early-morning or late-night flight – the lot and the transfer are available then too. The reservation can be cancelled free of charge, and you settle the parking fee on site.
