A flawless rating is a rare sight for an airport car park, yet IQ Parking has one: at the time of writing its Google Maps average stands at 5.0, based on the reviews of nearly four hundred guests. The explanation probably lies in how the place is run. IQ Parking is a family business which, in its own words, builds on two things: friendly service and flexibility. Their aim is that anyone who has tried them once will recommend them to family and friends – and judging by the feedback, it works.
The car park is in Vecsés, at Üllői út 873, 3.6 kilometres from the terminal of Liszt Ferenc Airport. Even among the Vecsés car parks that puts it on the closer side, and the transfer reaches the terminal in a few minutes.
For most travellers the transfer is the most uncertain part of airport parking: how long will the wait be, will all the luggage fit, will there be a child seat? At IQ Parking the answers are simple. There is no waiting time – a member of staff is already expecting you when you arrive, helps move the luggage across, and the transfer leaves immediately. The same goes for the way back, even if your flight is delayed: give them a call once you have collected your bags, and by the time you step out of the terminal the car is on its way.
There is particularly good news for those travelling with small children: child seats and booster seats are provided free of charge for the transfer. And if you would rather not take your own child seat on the trip, the car park will keep it safe until you return. Pets are welcome on the transfer too, in a carrier that meets the airlines' requirements.
The car park asks you to arrive no later than two hours before your flight departs – with that margin, check-in and security fit in comfortably.

There is one small thing few car parks offer, though in winter it is worth a lot. If you are flying somewhere warm in January, there is not much you can do with a winter coat: either you carry it around for the whole holiday or you leave it in a cold car. At IQ Parking coats and other personal belongings are stored securely and handed back at the transfer when you return – exactly when you need them most.
The other typical risk of a longer winter stay is a flat battery. If the car will not start when you get back, or a tyre has gone down, the staff provide technical assistance as well, so you do not have to call a breakdown service from the car park in the middle of the night.
The fenced site is entered through a barrier and a gate, and the car park is monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day. Your car can be waiting for you ready to go: you can order exterior and interior cleaning, timed for your return. In the winter months cleaning is only possible above +8 °C, because the cleaning products cannot be used at lower temperatures. On request your suitcases can also be wrapped in film before departure.
As at most car parks, the rates apply to an average-sized passenger car; for 7–12-seater minibuses a surcharge applies, depending on the size of the vehicle.
